About the Event

UNDERGRAD & MASTER’S STUDENTS:

Eager to make a difference in machine learning research? This is your chance to connect with top faculty and cutting-edge labs and 'match' with a research team to kick-start your journey on groundbreaking projects! Students from all majors are welcome, provided they have the necessary machine learning skills relevant to the projects.

The Project Directory will be available here 2 weeks prior to the event, Friday, October 2, 2026. This directory will provide all the information you need to know about each available projects, including the tools you'll learn and use, required skills, personnel information, and potential project outcomes. Explore the directory thoroughly to decide which labs you'd like to learn more about and match with.

On the day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to meet faculty, learn more about their research, and introduce themselves. Students are encouraged to bring a resume or letter of interest. Refreshments will be provided.

"SEAT AT THE TABLE"

Students can also sign up for a "Seat at the Table" with select faculty. Reserved seats give you the chance to ask your questions directly and enjoy prioritized face time, even as other students gather around to listen and learn. Availability will depend on faculty participation. If you’re eager to make a great first impression and increase your chances of finding the right match, this opportunity is for you. Sign-ups open 48 hours before the event. Spots are limited!
