Speaker Bio: Heather Knight is a triple threat: (1) she is a roboticist who has studied and taught at MIT, CMU, Stanford, Oregon State University, and who worked at NASA JPL and Aldebaran; (2) she is a comedian who created some of the first robot-delivered standup routines; (3) she is an artist with a wide range of past accolades: producer of the Robot Film Festival, organizer of the Robot Fringe Festival, TED talk speaker, featured artist at the Smithsonian, and winner of a British Video Music Award for OK GO’s “This Too Shall Pass” music video featuring a two-floor Rube Goldberg Machine.
